Work underway to restore power to 16 districts of Balochistan

QUETTA: The engineers and technical teams of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) continued repairing work on Thursday to fix the fault in the high transmission line which caused power suspension to about 16 districts of Balochistan on Wednesday night.

Official sources in QESCO told APP that high transmission line which was being injected electricity from Guddu power plant developed a fault and as a result, power supply to about 16 districts of Balochistan including the provincial capital of Quetta.

Later, electricity supply was restored to the metropolis. However, work to restore power supply to other districts was underway.
