KARACHI: Shipping activity remained active at the Port Qasim during lat 24 hours, where three ships carrying containers and diesel oil were allotted berths at Qasim International Containers Terminal and FOTCO Terminal on Monday.
Meanwhile two more ship scheduled to load/offload containers also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 30 percent at the Port Qasim on Tuesday where total number of three ships namely MV. Asian Trader, MSC Jade and FPMC Fortune are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers and diesel oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 66,076 tonnes comprising 62,401 tonnes imports nd 3,675 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1,710 containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
