FPCCI appoints new chairman of regional committee

LAHORE: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) has appointed the former LCCI vice president Aftab Ahmad Vohra as chairman of regional standing committee on "customs & ports/dry ports" for the year 2012.

Aftab Ahmad Vohra was the vice president of LCCI Standing Committee on Pak-India Business Promotion. He has vast experience of economic issues and rendered marvelous services for the cause of business community.

He has served Lahore customs agents group as member executive committee, vice president and general secretary. He has also served as member executive committee (1997-2000) of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Lahore and convener sub committee on import, customs and dry port, LCCI, Lahore.

He was member of managing committee of the federation of Pakistan chambers of commerce and industry (2000-2002) and chairman sub committee of customs valuation (for dry-ports).
