Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has directed Sindh provincial minister to take concrete steps to protect workers in industries from the coronavirus.

Bilawal on Thursday telephoned Sindh Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharijo and sought information about the impact of coronavirus on industries in Sindh.

He said that our priority is to protect the jobs and health of the workers.

He also highlighted the importance of social distancing to stay safe from the coronavirus.

Bilawal called Jam Ikramullah to protect the people of his constituency from the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, PPP chairman in his video message appealed to the nation that today is the big night of the 21st of Ramzan.

He said that today (Friday) is martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS). He said that protect yourself from the dangerous epidemic of coronavirus, protect your children, protect your elders, and do your worship and mourning in your homes.

Bilawal further said that our front line workers, our doctors, our nurses, our paramedical staff who are working day and night at the moment, are risking their health and lives so that they protect you and all of us. We want to put as much burden on them as they can carry, he said.
