Senior Vice Chairman All Pakistan Motorcycle Spare Parts Imports and Dealers Association (APMSIDA), Nasir Maqbool has urged the Sindh Government to allow opening of motorcycle spare parts shops in the province from May 20, 2020.

He said that the shop owners are facing huge problems to pay electricity bills, salary of employees, rent of shops and beside meeting day-to-day home expenses.

He said that the shopkeepers of motorcycle spare parts will follow 100% these Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and suggested to allow opening their shops from 20th May, 2020.

He said that the association in a letter to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has assured that the motorcycle spare parts markets will follow SOPS, which includes: Market will be operational for 4 days a week. 2: Market will observe timings from 9am to 5pm. 3: All shopkeepers will have hand sanitizer placed in their shops and accordingly use themselves and for their workers and the visiting customers. 4: Retail customers will not be allowed to come inside the shops. They will stand outside the counter of shops thereby ensuring social distancing. 5: All shopkeepers and their staff will wear mask and use hand sanitizer. 6: All shop keepers will keep Dettol spray in spray guns and this spray will be used before workers enter their shops.
