This Pakistani publisher wants photos of your quarantine experience

Have lockdown and going into quarantine changed you? Markings wants to know how.

The award-winning independent publisher is currently looking for entries for a new photo book documenting the experience of life post-COVID19 around the world.

Titled Our Markings 2020, the book aims to feature photographs that depict what one feels, sees, or thinks as a testimony to life during this period of unprecedented self and social isolation. The most powerful entries will be shortlisted and featured in a book, and the rest will be featured on social media.

Some notable entries so far include photographs taken by Mahira Khan and Faisal Kapadia of Strings, as well as pictures from New York, Dar es Salaam, Doha, Jaipur, Dubai, Haryana, Karachi, Jeddah, Boston and Lahore.
