Another case of the coronavirus was reported in Pakistan on Sunday, as another patient diagnosed with the virus in Karachi. The 50-year-old patient has tested positive for the virus. The patient and his family members have been quarantined. "We are looking into further details of the patient's travel history," the health department said in a statement.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was informed of another Coronavirus case during a meeting of the Coronavirus Task Force that a 50-year-old patient was tested positive for the virus. The patient and his family members have been quarantined.

During the meeting, Spokesperson of the Sindh CM said that four test were conducted today out of which one was tested positive with the virus. The meeting was informed that the person who came in positive test was from Karachi. The meeting was further informed that the program for those who were returning from Taftan has been canceled and they would leave from Taftan tomorrow.

Murad Ali Shah also directed officials to trace and test all those who have been in contact with the patient. The CM was briefed that the health department has conducted tests of 107 samples and overall four samples were resulted positive. He was apprised that one patient out of four was discharged from the hospital as he recovered his health. This is the fourth case to have been reported in Sindh. The other three people had recently returned from Iran.
