Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday last carrying containers a statement issued here on Saturday by port authorities said

Berth occupancy was maintained at 36% where a total of five ships namely M.V Msc Seirra-II, M.T Malpensa, M.T Pioneer, M.V Arrilah-I, M.V Indian Fotrune were currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, palm oil, wheat, furnace oil, fertilizer.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume of 92684 tonnes comprising 75966 tonnes of import and 16718 tonnes of export and 2010 (Tues) was handled during last 24 hours.

M.T Stx Malpensa sailed off and M.T Bhai Ravi arrived on Saturday.
