Small traders should continue their normal business activities without any fear as withholding tax is not applicable on annual turnover of Rs100 million per annum, said Rana Sikandar-e-Azam Khan President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI).

Addressing the FCCI Standing Committee on Electronic and Retailer's Association, he told that FCCI is an elected trade body of the business community of Faisalabad which is striving hard to resolve problems of its members. "We are involved in preparing Budget Recommendations for next financial year", he told and added that FCCI members must pinpoint their genuine issues with viable solutions so that the same could be included in draft of budget proposals.

Rana Sikandar Azam also underlined the need for cooperation and unity in business community and said that we could resolve our issues only through our collective efforts. Saim Ehsan Chairman Standing Committee requested participants to get the membership of FCCI as it will not only resolve their problems but also strengthen FCCI.

Hajji Yaseen, Vice Chairman pointed out that most of the electronic shops are situated on circular and Kotwali Road. These shops have severe problem of security and street light. He said that FCCI must stress upon the concerned quarters to resolve their issues in order to check possible incidents of theft and robberies. Later, Saim Ehsan offered vote of thanks and hoped that this standing committee will work in unison with FCCI office bearers.
