PSM capacity to be enhanced

KARACHI: The capacity of the Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) would be enhanced with the Russian assistance and collaboration.

This was stated by Chairman of Board of Investment (BOI) Saleem H Mandviwalla, here on Saturday.

He said that the enhancement of the PSM would be by one million tons.

Mandviwalla said the study of this has commenced and by the end of this year the expansion would also begin.

He said there is also Russian commitment regarding some power sector projects.

"We are also looking at some infrastructure projects that we want to give to the Russians", the BoI chief said.
