Leisure Leagues is organizing eight-team Six-a-Side football league in collaboration with Sir Syed University at the varsity's ground. The teams participating in the league have been named after renowned personalities of the sub-continent.

In the opening match, Dr. Israr Ahmed Six overpowered Quaid-e-Azam Six by 4-0. Muaz Rizvi scored a brilliant hat-trick for the winning team.

Sir Syed University's sports convener Qazi Nasir Abbas was the guest during the opening ceremony. Director Sports Mubashir Mukhtar, Leisure Leagues manager Riaz Ahmed, Waqas Abdul Razaq, Asif Zaheer and others were also present on the occasion.

Qazi Nasir praised leisure leagues for organizing the league. He said that healthy activities are very important for the youth of the country.
