KARACHI: Shipping activity remained active at the Port during last 24 hours, where two ships carrying containers and chemical were allotted berth at Qasim International Containers Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminals respectively on Tuesday, April 10.
Meanwhile two more ships scheduled to load/offload containers and furnace oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 18 percent at the Port on Wednesday where total number of two ships namely MSC Hina and M.V Belsize Park are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers and chemical respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 31217 tonnes, comprising 27353 tonnes imports and 3864 tonnes exports was handle, inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1163 containers (Boxes) at the Port during last 24 hours.
