  • Sehwag become the butt of jokes over his failed attempt to troll PM Imran.
  • Actress Ushna Shah and other Pakistanis slammed the Indian cricketer over his lack of English skills.

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag took his frustration out on Prime Minister Imran Khan by sharing one of the PM's clips from his interview for US talk show ‘Morning Joe’.

The PM was on US talk show when one of the anchors hosting it called him ‘a voter from the Bronx’ but Sehwag misunderstood it as 'welder of Bronx', and making fool out of himself. Sehwag shared the 36-second long clip, calling the PM's UN speech ‘pathetic’ and also how he kept on 'humiliating' himself.

Replying to his tweet, Pakistani actress Ushna Shah slammed the Indian cricketer and said that he is one of the 'stupid cricketers'.

Not only Ushna, many of his fans pointed him out saying that he should learn English language first before criticising the PM. Even the show host Joe Scarborough too clarified on Twitter that he said 'voter' not 'welder' during the interview.

Commenting on America’s approach towards Afghanistan, the PM said during the interview, “While the US was pouring money into Afghanistan in this futile war, the Chinese were developing a first-world infrastructure. You just need to go to China to see. The way their infrastructure is, and I'm in New York and I'm watching the - you know the cars bumping around here.”

The anchor light-heartedly said to the PM with a laugh, “You do not sound right now like a prime minister from Pakistan, you sound like the voter from the Bronx to complain about the infrastructure in the US.”
