Multiple injured as minor earthquake felt in Lahore, Sialkot

Two days after a destructive earthquake struck Azad Jammu and Kashmir's (AJK) Mirpur city, minor tremors were felt in Lahore and Sialkot on Thursday.

The tremors measured 4.4 on the Richter scale. The minor earthquake made residents to leave their homes and offices. According to local media reports, multiple peopler were injured and brought to nearby hospitals. An emergency has been declared and Rescue 1122 is at the ready.

On Tuesday, more than 30 people were killed and over 60 people were injured when a powerful 5.6-magnitude earthquake jolted several cities including AJK. The tremors lasted for 8-10 seconds and were felt strongly.
