Calling the attention of the global community towards millions of Kashmiris living under India's brutalities in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK), Prime Minister Imran Khan has said the world must move to prevent an impending genocide of the Kashmiris.

On the 1st International Day for Victims of Violence based on Religion or Belief, the premier took to his official Twitter handle and said that Indian forces have even denied Kashmiris their right to observe their religious practices, including Eid-ul-Azha.

"Today, on the 1st International Day for Victims of Violence based on Religion or Belief, we call attention to the plight of millions of Kashmiris living under brutal Indian Occupation, abuse and violence, deprived of all fundamental rights and freedoms," the prime minister wrote.

He further said that as the world shows solidarity for victims of violence based on religion and belief, it should also show solidarity and move to prevent an impending genocide of Kashmiris in IOK.
