Shamoon Abbasi reveals he was offered film with Priyanka Chopra

Pakistani actor Shamoon Abbasi revealed in a recent interview that he was offered a role opposite Bollywood icon Priyanka Chopra but he refused to do that due to his busy schedule.

Speaking talking in a local chat show, Shamoon said that he was offered role opposite Priyanka when he was shooting for ‘Waar’ so he refused to work in Bollywood film industry.

“Hassan Zia the producer of ‘Wrong No. 2’ called me up and said that he was in Delhi with Vishal Bhardwaj, who wants to cast me opposite Priyanka. I told him that I’m shooting ‘Waar’, he said leave whatever you’re shooting for and I’ll send you the tickets, fly over to Delhi,” he said.

He further said that he is a committed man so he refused to leave the Pakistani film and asked Vishal if he can adjust the shooting dates for him. “My reply angered him and he said are you proposing that Priyanka should wait for you, I said yes and he then he said no,” he added.

Though the actor didn’t reveal the name of the movie but Priyanka has collaborated with Vishal in ‘Kaminey’ and ‘7 Khoon Maaf’.

Shamoon also said that he is totally satisfied with his decision and made his fans proud with his movie ‘Waar’.
