If you thought the era of Apple’s iPods was long gone, you might want to rethink as the company has just announced a refreshed version of iPod model after four years.

For the first time since July 2015, the Cupertino tech giant Apple introduced its first new iPod touch model on Tuesday, emphasizing music and games as it continue to make a priority of serving up digital content.

The new and advanced version of the device comes in with Apple’s A10 Fusion chip and also with augmented reality (AR) and Group FaceTime support. Also, the update gives consumers the ability to choose an iPod touch with 256GB storage, which is important for people with massive music collections to download music for offline listening.

The device’s design does not seem to be much changed from the previous generation, having the same home button and bezels too. Similar to the previous generation of the device, the new iPod touch features a 4-inch Retina display, 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front camera.

Moreover, what’s new is that the new iPod touch will also support Apple’s newly introduced game subscription service, Apple Arcade, when it launches this fall, according to Apple. This will offer access to over 100 new and exclusive games without ads or additional purchases, and ability to play offline.

As of for the pricing and availability, the 32GB version iPod touch costs $199, the 128GB costs $299, whereas the 256GB variant costs $399. Available in six colors, the iPod touch is available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the UAE, UK and U.S.
