KARACHI: Three ship arrived at Port Qasim on Saturday, March 17, 2012, carrying containers at QICT, diesel oil at FOTCO, palm oil at LICT.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 64% at the Port on Saturday where a total of nine ships namely, M.V Sea Gull D, M.V Hiba Al Nour- B, M.V Mercy Wisdom, M.V New Dehli Express, M.V MSC Reunion, M.T PVT Sea Lion, M.T Harsanadi, M.V Ikan Byan, M.T Sciroco are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, wheat, containers, palm oil, diesel oil, canola seed, MEG was handled at Port last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 63117 tonnes comprising 44801 tonnes import 18314 tonnes export 990 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V New Delhi Express, sailed on Saturday afternoon, M.T Harsanadi sailed on Sunday morning.
