Global LNG demand to grow 2 pct a year for next 15 years - Qatar Petroleum CEO

SHANGHAI: Global demand for liquefied natural gas will grow at two percent a year for the next 15 years, the chief executive of Qatar Petroleum said at the LNG 2019 conference in Shanghai on Tuesday.

Growth in developed markets such as Japan and South Korea will be more moderate while there will be some growth in Europe after years of stalemate, said Saad Al-Kaabi, Qatar's minister of state for energy affairs and President and CEO of Qatar Petroleum.
