LONDON: Europe's main stock markets diverged at the start of trade on Thursday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.3 percent at 7,209.39 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index rose 0.4 percent to 11,448.65 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.1 percent to 5,200.12, compared with Wednesday's close.
