Shah Rukh Khan reveals why he won’t work with Akshay Kumar in a film

Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar are two of the most loved and celebrated movie stars in Bollywood for decades now but both the actors have never shared screen together and SRK has revealed why fans won't be seeing him work with Akshay in a film.

There’s always an unseen competition between the Khans of Bollywood and Akshay. Akshay releases atleast three movies in a year, while Khans usually give all their time and efforts to one film per year. In a recent interview, SRK revealed why he can never work with Akshay in a film.

When asked if he can do three or four films a year like Akshay or whether he will collaborate with the actor, SRK said, “What do I say to this? I don’t wake up as early as him.” While Akshay is known for waking up early and managing his schedules with precision, SRK prefers to work late at night.

SRK added, “I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So he can put in more hours of work. I’m a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me. I would like to work like Akshay and with him, but our timings won’t match,” Indian media reported.

Akshay is a strict disciplinarian and he loves to stick to his routine which is quite different than most of the stars these days. Akshay has ‘Mission Mangal’, ‘Kesari’ and ‘Good News’ in the pipeline this year, while SRK is yet to choose his next project after ‘Zero’ debacle.
