Gold prices on Saturday touched a new high of Rs87,300 per tola after the yellow metal was traded for $1498 an ounce on the global market, traders said. Gold prices posted an increase of Rs350 per tola to hit a new high. The yellow metal is selling for Rs74,888 with Rs300 increase. Silver was traded for Rs100 per tola and Rs943 per 10 grams, while its international price was quoted $17 an ounce, traders added.
