Government of Punjab envisions that Punjab will play a key role in equitable and sustainable development of Pakistan, the vision of Naya Pakistan hinges upon principles of justice and equity. The youth bulge of Punjab also needs more opportunities and avenues for channelization of their energies.
Punjab Spatial Strategy 2047 has been developed to address these spatial disparities and to eradicate regional imbalances. The Strategy will enable efficient resource allocation and more economic returns that will crystalize into economic growth and jobs for people of Punjab. I firmly believe that all citizens of Punjab deserve accessible and quality infrastructure and opportunities; this Strategy will be the first step in achieving these objectives.
