A high-level security delegation of the Sri-Lankan Cricket Board visited the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) Headquarters on Thursday to assess security arrangements. PSCA Managing Director Ali Amir Malik, Chief Operating Officer Akber Nasir Khan and Chief Administration Officer Kamran Khan gave detailed briefing on the security arrangements made outside and inside the Qaddafi Stadium, airport, hotel and parking routes with the use of 4G/LTE technology.
The delegation was also briefed about the deployment of police force and support of law enforcement agencies in this regard. During the briefing, DIG Operations Ishfaq Ahmad Khan showed surveillance footage of the security arrangement made for the PSL matches held in Lahore. Later, the Sri-Lankan delegation appreciated the efforts and arrangements made by all the law enforcement agencies.
