Although a faction of lawyers under the umbrella of Lawyers Action Committee distanced from the strike of PBC. The lawyers' community largely remained away from the courts. Large number of personnel of Police and Rangers were deployed outside the court premises to ward off any untoward incident. Leaders of bar council and bar association assembled in front of the high court and city court and displayed banners against the filing of references.
