Sindh Excise and Taxation department has collected Rs 1.49 million during its road checking campaign. According to details, the department during its campaign checked 2743 vehicles out of which documents of 214 vehicles were confiscated.
Around 745 vehicles were checked in Karachi, 454 vehicles in Hyderabad, 275 vehicles in Sukkur, 874 in Larkana, 233 vehicles in Mirpurkhas and 163 vehicles were checked in Shaheed Benazirabad.
During campaign, the department has collected Rs 1.49 million, some 118 vehicles were impounded due to certain reasons while documents of 214 vehicles were confiscated. The road checking campaign will continue till June 27, 2019.
