14th lamp lightening ceremony was held at Kharadar General Hospital. The Chief Guest of the Ceremony Senator, Dr Sikandar Ali Mandhro address the guest and said that 100 years services of the Hospital and well equipped and well-structured department of Nursing is the blessing for Lyari and adjacent communities.
He said all service providing department should be free from political and media trial and then only we can feel the true essence of community service. The material and neonatal health statistics are very alarming and need immediate address. President, Kharadar General Hospital and renowned industrialist Mohammad Bashir Jan Mohammad said performing duties with humanity, respect, kindness and virtue can enhance the services provision of the Department. Professional attitude and latest technology knowledge can address the shortcoming of the health challenges.
Hospital Management Committee Chairman, Prof Billoo said in order to address the shortage of nurses we need to continue the Diploma of General Nursing Progamme. Today the nursing students have lightened the candle of hope and wish for the new spirit. Hospital CEO Dr Khalid Iqbal said that nurses are serving as the healer for the society and are there to take care for all the cuts and bruises of the society.
