Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Opposition Leader Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi Saturday said that 18th Amendment is not the Book of God, we will amend it. Local Government has not been given rights through 18th Amendment.
Provincial Finance Commission (PFC) is inactive since 2006 to present. Does Pappu know anything about PFC? Zardari is the biggest ailment of the country, he will soon be sent to jail. "We promised that we will not approach IMF, we stick to our word, but we cannot harm the country for fulfillment of our promises. If we earn 200, we need to pay interest of 100 on the debts. We are going to IMF for the last time, as the export targets are not met. Federal Finance Minister is taking corrective and better steps to enhance exports. Problems will be solved soon." Firdous Shamim Naqvi stated.
He added, "The promises of Pappu are not fulfilled yet. PPP gives verbal statements but never with the intent to act upon them. Mayor Karachi is silent now after crying repeatedly. We are not among those who destroyed the country. We want to stabilize the economy of the country. The past governments took too much debt that we have debts more than income now. Of course, the inflation increased and the nation has to endure a tough time. Nations have to take tough decisions to move further."
The Opposition Leader stated, "PPP has spent eleven years so far in Sindh Government and the problems are remain the same. Nasir Shah talked about 10,000 buses, but did not even give 50 buses till now. Provincial rulers could give neither clean water nor any good plan for sewerage system. Shahbaz as thief was better than them who constructed Lahore as well as eating up."
"I was in Badin a day before. The college constructed fifteen years back is being destroyed. Sindh Government is not able of balanced the division of water in Sindh. The life of a road is 20 years, but in Sindh, the roads are destroyed in 5 years. PPP is afraid of the fact that Zardari will go to jail. PPP has not finished the session of Sindh Assembly because of this fear and the session still continues. PPP cannot do anything except looting and robbery." Firdous Shamim Naqvi stated.
He added, "We are not afraid of long march threats, we will respond soon. The provisions in 18th Amendment are essential but we want to increase the powers of the provinces instead of decreasing them. Some things should be on national level to the extent of policy. Labour, education, health, mines and minerals are the subjects where national policy is essential. Any company would prefer Pakistan over provinces. 18th amendment was created by humans sitting in the assembly and now the assembly will amend it."
"In Ghotki, Bilawal was perhaps going to prove that he is wise now. Papa, Pappu and Chappu all should listen! PTI believes in power of the provinces. Fariyal Talpur has her name in JIT now, who is Aunty Corruption. Land is being bought after making it cheap in Sindh. Water is being stolen, roads and hospitals are destructed. The ones who are threatening of marching towards Islamabad should listen; we know how to answer through march." The Opposition Leader stated.
He added, "Take out the people as many people as you can. It is necessary to become a man before starting a movement, let Bilawal be a man first. Go to Islamabad with march. We will also start a march to stop you from here. When we will do it, you will run away."
Firdous Shamim Naqvi stated, "The cheapest plan of bringing water is K-IV. K-IV should be double of its volume. If the residents of Sindh get 2 percent of the water given to Sindh properly, the needs can be satisfied. PPP destroyed the rivers of Sindh in eleven years.
President of PTI, Karachi Khurrum Sher Zaman stated, "PPP promised to give bread, clothes and shelter to the public. What promises PPP has fulfilled yet? We gave Health Cards to public according to our promise. What did the ones who ruled for last eleven years on Sindh to the public? Who is one of them not facing any cases of corruption yet?"
He added, "Bilawal Zardari stupidly complained about Prime Minister's not going to Quetta. In last three months, sixty people were killed in Karachi. Murad Ali Shah is the Chief Minister of Sindh province, how many from those sixty were fortunate enough to have Murad Ali Shah visit their home and express his sadness on their demise?"
"It is being tried to publish JIT in every language. It is essential to get rid of PPP for betterment of the province. We have declared war against corruption in the country. In Chamakta Damakta Karachi, we conveyed a message that Karachi can be cleaned. In every district and UC of Karachi we cleaned Karachi and gave our message." Sher Zaman stated.
He added, "If you have courage, enthusiasm and desire, you can work. We thank Senior Vice President of PTI Karachi Hunaid Lakhani on the conclusion of Chamakta Damakta Karachi."
The President of PTI, Karachi announced, "We are going to celebrate the 23rd Day of Founding of PTI on 27th April. We have sent an invitation to Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan."
