KAMPALA: Ugandan shilling firmed on Wednesday on the back of weak appetite for hard currency from major buyers in the energy, manufacturing and telecom sectors.
At 1105 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,685/3,695, compared to Tuesday's close of 3,695/3,705.
