Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Friday blamed the federal government for not acting upon the 18th Amendment. "There are attempts to snatch institutions established by the Sindh government. But, we will protect 18th Amendment," he said, talking to journalists after addressing a rally on the death anniversary of Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, here.
PPP chairman vowed to explore all legal and political options to protect the 18th Amendment. He said they would raise the issue inside and outside of the Parliament. He gibed Prime Minister Imran Khan, saying that they (PPP) had seen a lot of difficult times and "this puppet prime minister cannot create any hurdle in our way."
He said that in cricket matches, umpires will, and in politics, will of the nation decide the outcome. He asked why Prime Minister ardently supports Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. He also implied objection to Buzdar appointment as Punjab chief minister saying that a first-class team was claimed to be prepared for Pakistan's biggest province out of so many hopefuls for the chief ministerial slot, Buzdar sahib appeared in the last minutes. He said PM Imran Khan likened Buzdar with ace cricketer Wasim Akram due to which even Akram asks what is his fault?
