ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Pakistan values its ties with Iran and relations between the two countries would be further strengthened.
Talking to IRNA after the trilateral conference of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan, he said that the summit has provided an opportunity to discuss regional issues.
He noted that Pakistan and Iran are like family members.
'Both countries share same history, religion and culture', the minister underlined.
He expressed hope that this bond of friendship will continue to grow in times to come.
Malik continued that the trilateral summit has provided an opportunity to discuss regional issues.
"Such events are extremely important for the regional security", he noted.
