Spain's registered jobless fell to 3.16 million people in June, its lowest level since December 2008 and almost 2 million less than at its height at the tail end of the economic crisis in February 2013, data from the Labour Ministry showed on Tuesday.
The number of people in Spain registering as jobless fell by 2.77 percent in June from a month earlier, or by 89,968 people. Spain's unemployment rate stood at 15.8 percent in May, Eurostat said on Monday.
