President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the government will take all possible measures to explore mineral resources of tribal areas in order to raise living standards of people from these areas.
He said this while talking to a delegation from the tribal areas led by Ex-Parliamentary Sec Nazir Khan here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday, said a press release. Mamnoon emphasized that a through strategy is required to benefit from the mineral recourses of tribal areas. In this regard, public representatives should play an active role so that the quality of life of the people could be improved through the revenues generated from natural resources. He hoped that the construction of Kurram Tangi Dam will lead towards further development of these areas and the people should fully cooperate with the govt in this respect. -PR
