ahmedinejad-gilaniKARACHI: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad met Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday, as reported on the media.

Pakistan, on Thursday, welcomed the leaders of Afghanistan and Iran for the 3rd tripartite summit at a key juncture in peace efforts with the Taliban and amid rising tensions between Tehran and Israel.

Later Gilani threw a lunch for the Iranian president at the Prime Minister House.
