Salt grinding unit directed to improve environment

LAHORE: The City District Government's environment protection department Friday directed a salt grinding unit to improve working atmosphere.

According to official sources, Imran Salt grinding unit was working in a residential area of Shahdra Town which was being run without an environment management system.

To which, the authorities directed the owner under section 146-2 of the Punjab Local Government Ordinance-2001 to appear before them.
