Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi on Sunday said that the province of Punjab was under heavy debt of Rs 2000 billion due to flopped schemes of Shahbaz Sharif. He said this while addressing his party leaders of Lahore Division at his Gulberg residence on Sunday. The meeting discussed the upcoming elections and adopted strategy regarding distribution of party tickets.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Mian Munir, Saleem Malik, Shadab Jaffery advocate, Mian Asad Munir, Sheikh Nasir Mahmood, Rana Asad Munir advocate, Saeed Khawar, Suhail Cheema and Nasir Billa. Addressing the meeting, Parvez Elahi said tractor is electoral symbol of the party. We believe that the progress of farmer is progress of Pakistan, if farmer is prosperous, Pakistan is also prosperous, he said. He said during our tenure loadshedding, unemployment and price hike was under control but today these three are unbridled. He said, N-League is now going to be thing of the past, their arrogance will hunt them, he added.
