Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch has greeted the nation especially the people of tribal areas, on the completion of the constitutional requirements for the merger of the FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In a statement here on Monday, he said that at long last, the colonial era FCR had been abolished and the tribal areas had become a part of the national mainstream. He said there had been difference of opinion on this issue from the very beginning but the majority had voted for the merger of FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and now all others should also accept the majority decision.
The JI Secretary General greeted the national Cricket team on its grand victory against England and expressed the hope that the team would continue to show similar performance in the days ahead.
