NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling was under pressure on Monday due to demand from oil and merchant importers buying dollars ahead of the holiday season exceeding inflows from diaspora remittances, traders said.
At 0900 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 102.60/80 per dollar, compared with 102.50/70 at Friday's close.
