Sana Fakhar begins shooting for Netflix Originals in London

Pakistani actress Sana Fakhar has been roped in to play a role in US-based streaming website Netflix originals, for which she has already begun shooting.

The actress is currently in London for the shoot and is keeping her fans updated through her Instagram. She has been sharing some behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot on her Instagram stories.

With this, Sana has also become first Pakistani actress to star in a project of the popular US-based Netflix original. Netflix came to Pakistan in 2016 and now many Pakistani hit dramas are now also available on Netflix but none of them comes under Netflix originals.

Although Netflix has been around for quite sometime, the online entertainment channel made its mark in South Asia with the release of ‘Lust Stories’ in June and more recently, ‘Sacred Games’ in July.

Last year in November, Pakistani actor Zahid Ahmed also reportedly confirmed that he had been signed on for the lead role in Netflix’s first original series from Pakistan but there has been no further update regarding this news.
