DPO, AC escape unhurt in Awaran attack

District Police Officer (DPO) and Assistant Commissioner (AC) of Awaran escaped unhurt while five police personnel sustained injuries when some unidentified armed men attacked at a convoy carrying DPO and assistant commissioner in Awaran on Saturday. According to Police sources, DPO and Assistant Commissioner were on their way to office when some armed men opened fire at their convoy in Jhav area of Awaran, injuring five security officials including three policemen and two levies personnel.
