Chairman of Karachi-Sindh Tajir Ittehad, Shaikh Habeeb, has said on Friday that crimes in Karachi have been increasing day by day and extortionists are sending chits demanding money from businessmen. He said at a conference that the extortionists were threatening businessmen of dire consequences for their failure to pay the demanded money.
"Unfortunately, incidents of the targeted murders have also gone up," he said requesting the Inspector General of Sindh Police to deploys more police force at the marketplaces and business offices. Shaikh Habeeb also asked the Director General of the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) to order beefed up security measures mainly enhanced patrolling because nowadays, street crimes were on the rise in Karachi which must be controlled.-PR
