Rangers foil suicide attack bid in Hyderabad

Rangers foiled a suicide attack bid, as a suspected suicide bomber was gunned down when he tried to sneak into an Imambargah during Friday prayers in Latifabad area of Hyderabad. According to a Rangers spokesman, a suspected suicide bomber tried to sneak into the premises of Imambargah Wahab Ali in Latifabad area during Friday prayers.
The attacker lobbed grenade at Rangers' vehicle parked outside the Imambargah. The Rangers personnel retaliated and gunned down the attacker. Suicide vest, arms and ammunition were recovered from the attacker. Bomb Disposal Squad was called in to defuse the suicide vest.
