The fresh snowfall in northern areas dropped mercury on the scale to minus 8 degree centigrade, as several cold gripped most parts of the country. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more snowfall and rain. It said dense foggy conditions are likely to continue over plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
