The leaders of Sindh Growers Alliance (SGA) while criticising the threats of closure of sugar mills have announced launching of movement against rowdy attitude of mill owners. Addressing a Press conference at Hyderabad Press Club on Tuesday, the leaders of Sindh Growers alliance Nawab Zubair Talpur and Advocate Ali Palh said that the cane growers are remained under oppression of the mill owners who purchase the cane last year with cheap rates and now started threat to close their mills this year if their terms and conditions were not accepted.
They maintained that the growers would not accept any black mailing of the mill owners and Sindh Growers alliance has decided to stage of protest march from Shahbaz Building to Hyderabad Press Club on December 19, 2016 against the black mailing tactics of mill owners. The Sindh Growers alliance will stage the sit-in, in front of the Press Clubs of all district headquarters, if the sugar mills not started by the owners, they said and also warned the holding of sit-in at Chief Minister's House Karachi.
