Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar Inaugurated 12th Build Asia 2016 International Building and Construction Industry Exhibition on Tuesday being held at Karachi Expo Center. While addressing the inauguration Ceremony, Mayor Karachi said that with implementation on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, the country is getting more international exposure as CPEC has boosted the confidence of international investors in Pakistan.
China as the Country Partner for 12th Build Asia is using this platform to demonstrate best practices and innovation which will boost economic diversification, while encouraging foreign direct investment, he added. Akhtar said that Build Asia Exhibition will not only help to promote the construction industry in the country but also support the other 70 allied industries.
Showcasing over 250 brands in 300 booths, it is a pleasure to see 250 foreign delegates from 17 Countries including China, UAE, Iran, Italy, Switzerland, USA, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Germany and Turkey, he added. Congratulated the organizers, he said, "I commend the efforts put by organizers to gather the Building and Construction Industry, It is sending a positive image of Karachi to the whole world." Organizers said that starting from Tuesday, 12th Build Asia 2016 International Building and Construction Industry Exhibition Incorporating Stone fair Asia & Furniture Asia will continue till 08th December 2016.
Build Asia International Exhibition is one such platform for local and international companies to discuss collaborations, joint ventures, investments and other possible avenues. The objective of 12th Build Asia 2016 is Value Addition in the Marble Cutting, Tools and Construction Machineries to increase the productivity, they added.
12th Build Asia is displaying products from different exhibiting Companies including; Construction Machinery & Material, Steel Products, PVC Products, Cement, Marble Products & Machinery and Furniture. This 3-day Exhibition is organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan and has active support from Constructors Association of Pakistan (CAP) and All Karachi Marble Industries Association (AKMIA) and expected to be visited by 50,000 Businessmen from all over Pakistan.
