Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Tuesday that the Sharifs should realise that this is their last turn. He was addressing to the concluding ceremony of PPP's 49th Foundation Day. He further said that a long march would be announced if his party's demands were not met by the government. Bilawal repeated his earlier statement that he would take democratic control of Punjab. "Go Nawaz Go slogan did not originate from any city in Sindh, Mian Sahib it started from your own home," he added.
The PPP chairman announced the PPP's schedule for the next six months. The party will run a 'Go Nawaz Go' campaign for three months and an election campaign for three months. "Mian Sahib you will be in jail, Saudi or somewhere else in 2018," Bilawal added.
He also delivered a part of speech in Punjabi language, which was appreciated by the party workers. It may be noted that Bilawal had raised four demands earlier, included formation of a parliamentary committee on national security, passage of PPP's Panama Bill, implementation of Asif Ali Zardari's resolution on CPEC and appointment of a foreign minister.
Speaking on the occasion, the opposition leader in National Assembly Khurshid Shah said that the people were lied to by the government for its interest and power. Shah addressed the last day ceremony of Pakistan People's Party's (PPP) Foundation Day in Bilawal House yesterday. In his address, he said the government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz lied to the nation and gave them false hopes to serve their interests. He rhetorically asked the premier and the Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif about their promises of ending power outages within six months.
