An international conference on Asian History, Culture and Environment: Vernacular and Oriental Paradigms will be inaugurated on Sunday at a local hotel. Siddiqul Farooq, Chairman, Evacuee Trust Property Board and Senator Syed Mushahid Hussain would be the Chief Guests, says a press release.
The five-day conference being organised by the National Institute of Historical and Cultural Research (NIHCR), Centre of Excellence, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad in collaboration with the International Association of Historians of Asia and HEC, besides others. Syed Umer Hayat the Officer In charge NIHCR said that the conference spans over 10 sessions, each session consisting of three panels to be addressed by leading national and international historians.-PR
