LONDON: Europe's main stock markets steadied at the open on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.1 percent to 7,291.53 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 was flat at 12,097.19 points and the Paris CAC 40 was unchanged at 5,348.49, compared with Monday's closing levels.
