An athlete of the Government College University Lahore, Muhammad Ramzan, has set a new inter-universities record in 5000m race at the All Pakistan Inter-Universities Championship 2016 held under the auspices of the Higher Education Commission. As many as 36 universities are participating in the championship, which is being held at the Peshawar University, KPK.
Muhammad Ramzan finished the race 16:20 and secured the Gold Medal. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Hassan Amir Shah and Director Sports Khadim Ali Khan congratulated Muhammad Ramzan on his extraordinary performance in the HEC championship.
