On Friday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 21,234 million. The number of lots traded was 157.49 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,608. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 20,639 million followed by crude (PKR 503.93 million), silver (PKR 84.18 million) and cotton (PKR 6.94 million).
